About Us

Urban Learning Space was developed as a vehicle for businesses, learning providers and communities to explore and create new processes and tools for exploiting human potential. Over the course of our four year existence we have designed and managed projects which address immediate issues such as the challenges faced by the MCMC group (More Choices More Chances), as well as promoting skills that, when combined with creativity can help build a humane and sustainable economy.

Our six strong team has experience in project management, community arts, software development and design. We have formed rewarding partnerships with a broad range of learning institutions, research bodies and businesses around the world. Our work is shared through our popular events series, providing a forum for social innovators, artists, designers and technologists.

Partnerships

We have established a large and varied network of partners ranging from Glasgow based education providers and influential public bodies, including Govan Initiative and Scottish Screen, to high profile European design and technology houses such as The Fraunhofer Institute and Guigiaro.
